Jenny is passionate about plants, animals and natural living. She attended Colorado State University and received a Horticulture degree in 2003. Jenny is passionate about plants, animals and natural living. She attended Colorado State University and received a Horticulture degree in 2003. While at the university, her focus was on organic agriculture. Not long after, she became drawn towards the idea of assisting women in pregnancy, birth and postpartum. In 2011, she attended her first birth. This experience started her on the path to becoming trained as a doula with DONA International. She has since received training and certification as a Lactation Counselor through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice. Most recently, she completed her certification as a Childbirth Educator with the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association. Jenny recognizes that every birth is unique and intimate. She respects all birth preferences and honors her role as a birth worker.
In 2016, she attended the Holistic Yoga School, deepened her yoga practice and received her 200 hr yoga teacher certificate. Jenny feels incredibly fortunate to weave her passions together, specializing in prenatal yoga and teaching labor and childbirth classes.

Studies have shown that when doulas attend birth, labors are shorter with fewer complications and intrrventions. Babies born with their mothers supported in this way are typically healthier and breastfeed more easily.
Jenny was trained and certified as a doula through DONA International. She holds a Lactation Counselor Certificate with The Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice . She is also certified as a Childbirth Educator accredited by the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association. She offers compassionate support and classes during pregnancy, preparing for labor, birth and beyond.

She weaves quotes into her guidance which reflect this throughout her classes. She offers yoga experiences which incorporate mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, and asana while honoring the natural influences around us. Jenny teaches a variety of styles and specializes in prenatal yoga.
